Clinical Outcomes/Patient Satisfaction

Inpatient Stroke Program - 2014 Clinical Outcomes

The Inpatient Stroke Program at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is proud of our clinical outcomes as well as our level of patient satisfaction. In 2014, we served 527 individuals with stroke in our program. We realize that it is important to our patients to return home with their loved ones as soon as possible. The average length of stay for our patients was 19.5 days which compares very favorably with other inpatient stroke rehabilitation programs in the nation and the region.

Over the years, Sunnyview has consistently discharged a greater percentage of individuals with stroke back to their home and community. This was also true during 2014 when 68%of our patients returned home to continue their lives. That is 9% greater than other inpatient stroke rehabilitation facilities in the region.

The Inpatient Stroke Program is also proud that individuals with stroke and their families are pleased with our efforts as well. The patient satisfaction surveys portray how our patients rate our program and if they “Would Recommend This Facility” to family and friends. Although we want each and every one of our patients to be completely satisfied, we understand that not everyone will. We are pleased that 96% of individuals served by the program would recommend Sunnyview to family and friends.

We love what we do and we are honored to assist individuals with stroke and their families to reach their desired goals.
