TROY, N.Y. -- Eddy Alzheimer's Services, a service of The Eddy not-for-profit network of senior services, will hold the "2011 River of Life Boat Cruise & Dinner Dance," Wednesday, Sept. 22, 6 - 9 p.m. (boarding begins at 5:30 p.m.), aboard the Captain JP, Front Street, Troy.
Assemblyman Ronald Canestrari and Cohoes Mayor John T. McDonald, III, will serve as honorary co-chairs. The evening will feature a scrumptious buffet dinner with cash bar and a silent auction, followed by a sunset cruise sailing along the Hudson River at dusk, with live music and dancing.
Proceeds will benefit support community programs and support services provided by Eddy Alzheimer's Services at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center in Cohoes, and Eddy Alzheimer's Center at Hawthorne Ridge in East Greenbush.
