Welcome to Samaritan-Rensselaer Children's Center!
To provide a place where children feel free to grow, explore and question is the goal of Samaritan-Rensselaer Children's Center. In order to achieve its goal, the center plans its day with each child's developmental and cognitive needs in mind. Sensory, intellectual and physical stimuli are provided ... along with plenty of rocking, hugs and helping hands.
Children are first and foremost members of families. Every effort is made to ensure that families feel comfortable in and are knowledgeable about our center. Communication between the family and the center, a strong support network for the family within the center, and a place for parents' voices to be heard in the decision-making process are provided.
The center is a not-for-profit organization and is licensed by the New York State Department of Social Services.
Samaritan-Rensselaer Children's Center has received accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) which is dedicated to improving the well-being of all young children, with particular focus on the quality of educational and developmental services for all children from birth through age 8.
