Electronic Dementia Guide for Excellence (EDGE)

EDGE was developed with funding from the New York State Department of Health Dementia Grants Program in 1995. Originally, EDGE was designed as a comprehensive method of building and implementing a quality dementia care program. Recently EDGE has been revised to have more of a focus on dissemination of information. The site contains useful and practical information on providing care and activities for persons with dementia in several settings including nursing homes, adult care facilities, day programs etc. New interventions will continue to be added.
