Imagine for a moment not knowing where you are, what you are doing, or even who you are. These are typical moments for people who suffer from Alzheimer's disease...
The Eddy is committed to improving the quality of life for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease. The progressive neurological disease affects more than 4.5 million Americans, robbing their memory, cognitive skills, mobility, personality and ability to communicate. Recognizing that individuals with the disease and their families have many unmet needs and few care options in the community, The Eddy began developing innovative services for Alzheimer's in the 1980s.
Today, The Eddy offers a comprehensive range of dementia care services, including medical diagnosis, care management, education and outreach support, and compassionate care for individuals and family living and coping with memory loss. The network also serves as a major resource for professional and paraprofessional caregivers across the state, providing specialized training in dementia.
