Assistance Funds

Courtesy Fund

The Courtesy Fund was created to provide suitable memorials for bereaved alumni and their families. The fund is also responsible for providing suitable remembrances for the sick and shut in alumni at the appropriate times. Monies for the fund are obtained from a portion of the annual dues and donations made by the Alumni or other interested parties.

An alumni committee is responsible for sending condolences to the bereaved and making donations to the Leora Belknap Scholarship Fund in memory of the deceased alumni or members of their immediate family. The committee also maintains a list of infirmed alumni who are remembered with greeting cards and sometimes flowers, when funds permit, at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.

If anyone has knowledge of an alumni member who should be placed on the Infirmed List or of a graduate who is recently deceased, please notify the Courtesy Committee in writing:
