Please Note: The estimates above apply to full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduate students only.
Please note that over 90% of Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing students enroll part-time. Their tuition and fees are solely based upon the number of credits for which they enroll each semester. We encourage our applicants to call the Financial Aid Office on 518-271-3649 to learn more.

Not all students receive financial aid. In 2009-10, 80% of our full-time students enrolling
for college for the first time received grant/scholarship aid. Students may also be eligible
for student loans and work-study. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA) in order to determine their eligibility for Federal financial aid that includes
Federal grant, loan, or work-study assistance. For more information on applying for
Federal student aid, go to
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. You must complete a FAFSA if you want to be considered for financial aid which includes student loans, Pell Grants, and New York State's Tuition Assistance Program (TAP). We encourage you to consider that this full-time estimate is unlikely to represent your tuition cost. The non-tuition cost for our students is a good indicator of the expenses that our typical students incur. It is important to note that you are only charged for your actual tuition and fees per semester.
These pricing estimates represent a very small percentage of our total enrolled population. Most of our students are part-time and incur far lower costs to attend the Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing. We encourage our applicants to contact the Financial Aid Office on 518-271-3649 if they have questions regarding how to apply for financial aid.
