Linking Generations

The Glen at Hiland Meadows is a proud participate in the Earth's Elders Project which helps bridge the generations between local youth and residents of The Glen at Hiland Meadows. Teachers from local schools implement the program in their classrooms. The project has a dual purpose:

Connecting Our Elders

• Improve the quality of life for the elderly
• Improve the health of our communities
• Preserve their stories

Connecting Our Youth

• Teaches children to recognize the wisdom and value of the elderly
• Promotes intergenerational respect
