The Viewpoint Gallery at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, established in 1999 as a way to celebrate the creativity and vision of artists with disabilities. A multi-faceted arts program that provides opportunity to disabled artists, hospital patients, staff and the community at large, Viewpoint Gallery engages the appreciation, understanding and creation of visual art. Viewpoint Gallery continues to be committed to the development and implementation of quality programming.
Viewpoint Gallery currently manages an art collection containing more than 100 works of art on public exhibit throughout Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, created exclusively by artists with disabilities from around the world.
Viewpoint Gallery also annually manages an international exhibition by artists with disabilities offering a professional juried and sales opportunity.
Additionally, Viewpoint Gallery manages the Studio Arts Program, art instruction and art history classes for regional artists with physical disabilities. Furthermore, Viewpoint Gallery implements a yearly one-man, small group, and collaborative exhibition series.
