The Inpatient Cardiopulmonary Program at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is proud of our clinical outcomes as well as our level of patient satisfaction. In 2014, we served 242 cardiac patients and 327 pulmonary patients . Since we realize that it is important to our patients to return home with their loved ones as soon as possible, 84 percent of our cardiac patients returned back to their home and community. This compares very favorably with other inpatient cardiac rehabilitation programs in the nation and the region at 79 percent.
We are very proud of our Ventilator Weaning Program outcomes. Our vent patients' average length of stay was 34 days which compares very favorably with other inpatient ventilator weaning rehabilitation programs in the nation and the region. An astonishing 82 percent of our ventilator patients in 2014 were able to come off the ventilator!
The Inpatient Cardiopulmonary Program is proud that our patients and their families are pleased with our efforts as well. The patient satisfaction surveys portray how our patients rate us on “Overall Patient Satisfaction”, and how they answered the question, “Would You Recommend This Facility?” Although we want each and every one of our patients to be completely satisfied, we understand that not everyone will. Sunnyview Hospital served 327 Pulmonary Patients in 2014.
