Hospital Care

Three inpatient units provide 24-hour hospital care at Samaritan Hospital for patients in need of stabilization, evaluation, crisis resolution and group therapy:

Adult Psychiatry

Care focuses on stabilization and crisis resolution, as well as a return to the community as soon as possible.

Geriatric Psychiatry

A 20-bed inpatient unit provides specialized care to meet the unique medical, psychiatric and social needs of the older patient.

MICA (mentally ill, chemically addicted)

Holistic treatment for the dually diagnosed, including stabilization and detoxification from substances. Extensive daily group therapy is complemented by the introduction of self-help groups.
