Rahim Dhanani, MD

Family Medicine

Dr. Dhanani earned his medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan and completed his residency at West Virginia University Hospitals, Morgantown, West Virginia.

Prior to joining Family Medical Group in 2011, Dr. Dhanani served as a hospitalist, a doctor who cares for patients in the hospital setting, at Samaritan Hospital. He was also in group practice in West Virginia.

Nalini Ramanathan, MD

Family Medicine

Dr. Ramanathan joined Family Medical Group in 2010. She earned her medical degree at Assam Medical College in Dibrugarh, Assam India and completed a residency in family medicine at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey. She looks forward to providing a full range of healthcare services for you and your entire family.

Elizabeth Sandel, DO   

Family Medicine

Dr. Sandel earned her medical degree at the School of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Medicine and Kennedy Memorial Hospitals in Stratford, New Jersey where she then served as resident physician. In addition, she was chief resident at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey. She has been with Family Medical Group since 2007.

Kristin N. Yannetti, MD    

Family Medicine

A native of Albany, NY, Dr. Yanetti earned her medical degree from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, and completed her residency at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn in Scottsdale, AZ. She joined Family Medical Group in 2010.

Keith A. Rebehn, MD

Family Practice

Dr. Rebehn joined Family Medical Group in 1998. He earned his Medical Degree at Albany Medical College of Union University in Albany and completed a residency in family practice at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady.

Dr. Rebehn has more than 20 years of experience in medicine and served as an attending physician in the emergency department at Samaritan Hospital prior to joining Family Medical Group.
 

Jeffrey R. Root, Ph.D.   

Psychology

Dr. Root earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology and a master’s degree in psychology at Pennsylvania State University.

Prior to joining Family Medical Group in 1998, Dr. Root served as principal psychologist and then director at Albany Psychological Associates, PC, in Albany and as a chief psychologist at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. 

Bruce Cunningham, PA

Family Practice

Bruce Cunnigham has 30 years of experience in medicine. He earned his physician assistant certificate at Albany Medical College/Hudson Valley Community College.

Prior to joining Family Medical Group in 1994, Bruce served as director of military medicine at the US Navy Branch Clinic in Ballston Spa and as physician assistant at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy.
