TROY, N.Y.–May 23, 2013 – Troy Medical Group, part of the Northeast Health Physician Network and St. Peter’s Health Partners, has announced the appointment of Faith Ann L. Cruz, MD.
Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Cruz previously worked as a practitioner at Alfredo B. Cruz, MD, PC of Troy. She also has served as a member of the attending staff for Samaritan Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital since 2009. In 2012, Cruz served as chair of the Young Physicians of Rensselaer County. Currently, Cruz is also chair of the department of family practice for Seton Health.
A resident of Troy, Cruz has a bachelor’s of science degree in biology from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and received her medical degree from the St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. She also did a clinical clerkship at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica, NY; and completed her family medicine residency at Albany Medical Center.
