LATHAM, NY – February 5, 2013– Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of The Eddy not-for-profit network of services, will open its newest outpatient physical therapy site, Sunnyview Therapy Services, located at 579 Troy-Schenectady Road, Latham Farms (adjacent to Hannaford), Latham.
The new site will offer convenient access to the same high-quality, advanced outpatient physical therapy services offered at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in Schenectady. Our highly skilled professional staff will tailor a treatment plan to meet each patient’s individual needs utilizing state-of-the-art technology and up-to-the-minute treatment techniques.
Physical therapy uses a combination of manual therapies, various treatment modalities, exercise and education to help patients improve mobility and function, and help manage pain. Physical therapy is used to treat a variety of conditions, including: orthopedics/sports injuries; stroke; neck and back pain; neurological disorders; vertigo; multiple trauma; and post-surgical rehabilitation following joint replacements; shoulder/elbow/hand surgeries; rotator cuff surgery; hip/knee/ankle surgeries; and back surgery.

Sunnyview outpatient physical therapy services are also offered at two other convenient locations: Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, 1270 Belmont Avenue, Schenectady; and at Carman Medical Arts, 3757 Carman Road, Guilderland. Early morning and evening appointments are available.
